Hair/Make-up
I will be having my hair and make-up done by Carolina Velasco of Special Day by Carolina out of Malden, MA. I recently went for my hair and make-up trial and LOVED her work. She was so easy to talk to and willing to do whatever I wanted. Below are some pictures of my trial.
HAIR
My hair will be a simple half-updo. Since my hair is naturally curly and Brian loves the curls, I decided not to fight it as I normally do. The curls are loose and flowing, the way that I was envisioning. The hair comb is a simple pearl and swarovski crystal comb purchased on etsy (seller saralibbey) EDIT: I am thinking of tighter curls for the wedding to make sure that they stay.
Make-Up
Just like my hair, I wanted something pretty but simple. I don't wear a lot of make-up so I wanted to make sure that I looked like myself. It is airbrush, which I absolutely love. It doesn't feel like I am wearing anything. My eyes are a neutral mix of champagne and soft browns with a little gold to complement the bridesmaids' apple red dresses. They were perfect. I will be using my own lip gloss, Rimmel London's "Snog". I love it because it is a great gloss but is not tacky or sticky.
